Hey kids, today we're going to learn why punctuation is important!

Here's a correctly punctuated piece of text:
"Stop hitting me with that pen. Is accross my face the wrong way?"

Now let's get rid of the punctuation and see what we get!
"stop hitting me with that pen is accross my face the wrong way"

oh my.. it can give totally different meanings!

i use half-punctuations. just end marks and commas, so it's still readable.

Most of the time I use correct punchuation. There are times when I can't spell a work or else my fingers are to cramped up to type well, or if it's just that I type really fast. But yeah, I mostly type correct punchuation, and people who type gibberish online sound weird and like their 12 years old or something. =P

Unfortunately, I'm not one of the teenagers in the 98% that has handphones, so well, unfortunately I use punctuation. Most of it's correct, but that's most.

(I have a bad influence on emphasis  )

Now you took it too personally, which is 1) stupid since I didn't even think about you when I created this; 2) not my fault because YOU took it personally.

This is ridiculous.

The truth is, your sentence really have no punctuation. If THAT is really your answer to my poll, then I will stop. Otherwise, you should see my reply as a reassurance, asking if REALLY you don't use punctuation.

If you always see my reply as such a negative comment like you gave me often, I can't do anything but to ask you to stop here, since you are just tending to misinterpret my words and try to see another meaning of my sentences. I can't do anything at all. After all, not my fault.

I am terribly sorry. Bye bye!

I definitely try to use correct punctuation all the time; mostly for the reason that not everyone speaks English first and punctuation is pretty handy for those that don't speak English first.

It depends who I am talking to and where. For instance, I don't use proper punctuation on IRC but I do for deviantART.

Likewise, No point typing perfectly if you know the person your talking to understands what your saying. Where as you don't know who might look at a comment on a deviation.

I mainly just make sure that my sentences are easily understandable. I hate people who slurr different meanings together into one sentence without any punctuation. It makes it nearly impossible to understand.

If I feel it's necessary though I do try to use proper grammar. It really depends on who I'm talking to. o.o
