Very cool! All the bright lights X_X
I think it's very interesting! Reminds me of something I would see in a video game booklet o_o I dunno.. like Xenosaga or something.
And I think I see falling cherry blossoms?
looks like a bit of organic-type style for you.
your lighter colors on this are awesome too
nice 2D bits, and brushing m8.
lighting is sweet too as well as the colors
yet another amazing piece from the man!
for a job well done as always
I really like this piece coming from you Vincent. I'm not used to seeing microscopic type images. Although it still has the sizeless quality we've come to expect, the organic, microbe-like quality of the objects in the picture really give it a sense of enlargement that is unusual in your work. I really enjoyed the tranparency and translucence of the objects, and the largeness of the objects in the background. The clutter of objects reminds me of the clutter of a bloodstream. I don't have a lot poetic to say about this piece, but I really enjoyed the change of pace and the experimentation coming from you. Well done.
Hey, man, no problem. By the way, I'm the proud owner of the one calendar you did that had a cell of twelve of your best works. I bought my little brother the "Imperial" poster, as well. Both turned out really nice and are much greater in printed form than in digital form.
You did a wonderful job on those, as well. They were both Christmas gifts.
I think I'll have to agree with psykoholica. This definitely brings its own balance. Although the work in itself is great, it's not my forte. I'm not particularly fond of this one, but it's still nice. And for an experiament, too, it turned out really well. 9Again, I'm impressed.
I dont know what these people are talking about with the lack of background and such. I think you did great on this one. Yes, it was a departure from your usual stuff... but thats what "experiments" are, no? If anything, you're pushing beyond the boundaries of what you've established.
On the "lack of background", this piece has its own sort of balance, definitely creating a sense of aerial perspective with the fading contrast and blurs. You can really feel the spacial properties. Now, if this is what you were going for, then I must say there are some parts along the bottom as well as top that become somewhat confusing. If you werent going for this, then I'll just stick with "good job."
Remind me of the movie "paycheck" when the memories are deleted ... maybe you have watch the movie Its a very great picture some thing under a microscope with a very high resolution colors and 3d roxxx. 2D and typo as usual good work v.
I don't see how one could fault this piece. Like all abstracts, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and subjective comments can only be... subjective comments. Comparisons are also useless. What I see is something well-handled and evocative. To me, this is where an artist has chosen a perfect moment (as is necessary with many digital artworks - there are a million 'before' states and a million 'later' states - and recognizing the sweetest moment is a great part of the skill). It gives out a very strong energy and definitely affects the viewer (unless braindead ). You know where you're going and what you're doing. Great!
Thanks! That's really true. I am happy that you can see art as something provocating. While not every piece can be worked out or work out perfectly or well, you can appreciate the effort behind, which makes me smile.
Looks very real bro, and I admire that alot. A lot of abstract designers that create along the lines of sience etc have a hard time capturing the "real" aspect. I beleive you captured it fully here, nice job.
*wonders if this is what small teeney weeney little stuffs looks like when it isnt all crushed up on a scanning electron microscope.*
Shows beauty to ick for me. In the thumbnail i noted that it looks like spiderwebs almost, it holds true to full size. This image is a holy ick. All things has its good sides.
Like one coworker, he was a manager. Started to come in drunk and/or pissed as hell. Throw boxes and stuff. In person, he turned out to be an awsome guy. Very nice, sensable and such (now that he was fired and got a better job.) He was a good person everywhere but work.
Teenee little dust mites that we think Ick about, they eat the dead skin stuffs. Without the dustmites and mini bug things, we would be covered in our dead skin. even more ick.
Looks good for an experment. Reminds me of the game metroid!
