Fossil . Capture of Habitation Final version . Thanks for the suggestions
I was thinking of including this as part of the depthCORE Habitat pack but I didn't, because I didn't want to. Anyway if you can be a bit more observant, you can probably see a shadow of an insect in the center, blown by something from the lower-left corner. That moment was held inside this "amber" I would say in this image. Habitat is not just about living to me. It is also a trasition from the past to now, which can happen in different forms just like this insect being captured by the amber and frozen to be seen today. Habitation in the past or the habitation in the present? Depends of the media you are in now.
in my opinion its awesome as it is and looks like it is finished, seen as i don't think it needs anything else done to it but im no expert in this area of art so im sure some other people will be able to give some better input/idea's/help and ill love to see what it eventually turns out like
great work.

I like the trendy look, however there is something lacking in the structure of the piece, the something that binds all the elements of the piece into one ( lol no no the one ring ).
now this one is really something special in your gallery. a very very unique style. i looked at it and my first intention was that it looks like some kind of insect captured into amber. then i read your description and heeeeey i was right! heh the seamless implemented design elements work well together with the actual pic. you say you're actually not done with it but don't have anything left to add? well, i say... leave it this way. anything more to the pic could destroy the flow.
I think the image is a nice start, but personally, I'm not a fan of the parts where the render is blurred. It makes the design very chaotic (which I like that's it's sort of 'everywhere') and makes it very hard for your eye to focus on one particular spot. Especially in the bottom right and top right corners, they're so dark in contrast to the rest of the piece that it just seems like your eye is moving all over.
I know that's a vague comment to give, but that's what I see when I look at this... chaos. I think it's got a lot of potential, but personally this isn't one of my favorites of yours. I think some smooth transitions and less blurring will help sharpen this image up a lot and make it more appealing.
