Enshroud II by niteangel Enshroud II by niteangel
Enshroud :: Hidden Machine :: Modeling in Bryce 5
This is a wide version for printing. Fixed some bugs too.

Yeah, nothing special, just a little modified version of my previous 108-faved Enshroud [link] I need to submit this for another version of print, which has another aspect ratio. Visit my print shop now! [link]

wow. this piece is definitely one of my favs out of your works nite... the blended style of tech abstract vs traditional abstract is an original idea that works very well here, i enjoy the colors you used here as well, not too often do you see these kinds of colors in abstract, not to mention you used 2 or 3 ranges of hues which is also something you don't see very often but it works well. I like how you didn't overdo the brushing, more often than not i see abstracts which are nearly ruined because of the overdone brushing, to me 3d abstracts are all about the render, brushing is just postwork, the render : brushing ratio here is great and I wish more people would use this style as opposed to the latter. I also like the size of the abstract render as well, i prefer the larger "coming off the canvas" style, and the blending opacities are nicely done. All around great piece of work which is most definitely a :+fav: in my book, thanks

ahh its the least I could do, you are afterall one of my inspirations, and I plan to do critiques like this for as much of your work as I can... I also would like you to see my little holiday tribute to my inspirations, in my latest journal, one of them being you.... not trying to kiss ass, just being honest and a lil something nice for the holidays... i hope you enjoy and keep up the awesome work :)
